Trying on all the accessories!

Last night just before bed I made Ayla try on her gloves for her Halloween costume. She was afraid of them until I finally got them on her and then she thought they were really cool. So then I put on her poka-dot tights and her new head band. She was dancing around and posing for pictures. It was really cute. (I know more photos haha what's wrong with me?)

Ayla and dad started to play around and she giggled and giggled- daddy is definately the fun one. Mommy is for cuddling and kissing when she gets hurt.By the end Ayla was getting tired of me taking pictures. This final face proves her attitude. I had fun with the camera :) We got some cute video of her too but the camera was turned sideways and I can't figure out how to rotate a video. Does anyone know if that is possible? Let me know if you do!

Daddy's shoes

Ayla found out that daddy's shoes were pretty hard to fill!

Dancin' with the Wiggles

Playing Dress-up at Grandma's

Ayla and Lincoln were playing dress-up at Grandma's house. Ayla tried on her dress that grandma is making for the Easter Pageant (it isn't quite finished but it is so cute!). We also put Ayla and Lincoln in the bee costume that we bought for the wings for Bridget's costume this year. Anyways I bet you've never seen cuter bees!
You have to love the leg warmers. They are fuzzy and so cute.

Don't worry Mike we didn't make Lincoln wear the skirt.
I'm not sure what is up with Ayla's cheesy grins lately but they are cute :)

Marcie and Holly were kind enough to give us this wonderful award and I have been very slow to post my acceptance. It wasn't because we didn't want it... I was just lazy I guess.. no more excuses here I go...
We accept this loverly award with honor from Marcie and Holly!
So here are the rules. 1. The winner can put the logo on their blog. 2. Link to the person you received your award from. 3. Nominate at least 7 other blogs. 4. Put links of those blogs on yours. 5. Leave a message on the blogs you've nominated. 6. Write an acceptance speech in the style of the Academy Awards, thanking every body’s mother, father, sister, brother, aunties and uncles and the kitchen staff at your favorite restaurant!

I would like to thank Ayla for being the cutest little ever so that we had something to blog about. I would also like to thank Bret for picking out our wonderful camera and for not minding me being on the blog all the time. Lastly I want to thank everyone who looks at our blog. Horray for blogs!

We'd like to give this award to..... (drum roll please)
(these are in no particular order)

1. My sister Kimi for her cute blog and for always keeping us up to date on everything

2. My cousin Bethany who has two wonderful blogs. Bethany writes everything so eloquently- she even made shopping at Fresh and Easy sound like tons of fun :)

3. My sister-in-laws Marcie and Holly for always posting about Ayla and Lincoln and of course for babysitting all the time (thank you thank you thank you!)

4. My sister-in-law Dena for her cute pictures of Lincoln and her cute blog headers (is that what they are called? I don't know she makes them and they are cute!)

5. My cousin's wife Marti who posts all the time so we always have something fun to check up on. Plus they live far away so it is nice to know what is going on in their lives!

Juice boxes

Ayla has discovered juice boxes and she LOVES them. She thinks she is cool stuff when she gets one. She is really good about drinking them too. She hasn't yet discovered that if you squeeze it the juice comes out so we are doing good. She is becoming a really good eater (considering she only have four teeth (six actually but the two that are coming in are too small to matter yet). She has found out that she likes to eat mom and dad's cereal with them and she also now loves Gogurt. She is so fun! If I can figure it out I'll post this video of her dancing. She really gets into the wiggles and barney now and does the actions with them. It is the cutest thing you've ever seen!
