babysitting

Today Bridget didn't have school because of Martin Luther King Day and Gina is out of town so I volunteered to watch Bridget and Lincoln. We had a fun day and the kids and Bridget were really good! For part of the day we played outside and they all loved it! Hooray for Mesa in January that it was warm enough to play outside... in fact it was almost too warm!

New hair style

Ok so tonight I went to Holly's spa night enrichment. It was really fun and Holly did a great job putting it on. We learned about hair, make-up, and nails. Kristi DeWitt taught us how to curl our hair with a straightening iron... so I thought I would try it out tonight. I think I did pretty good for my first time. Ha ha it was so easy and fun :) Thanks Kristi!

Africa

Bret was kind enough to speak at our joint mutual on Wednesday. He did such a great job! He wore his bu-bu so I wore my African dress (which by the way is a bit tight now!) and Bret's mom made Ayla a little dress to wear. She looked adorable! Thanks Gina!

The Lion King

For Christmas my parents gave all of us girls (and the kids that were old enough) tickets to go and see the Lion King on the 3rd. It was so much fun. My mom took us all out to eat first and then we went to the Lion King! It was amazing! Thanks mom for taking us! we had a great time!

Happy New Years!

For New Years Eve we ate dinner with my family (it was really yummy!) then we went and hung out with Bret's family. Ayla made it all the way to midnight. I was going to put her to bed but she was being so good I just let her stay up. It was a lot of fun! HAPPY NEW YEARS everyone!
