Well October was a fun month for us. We got to dress up six different times. Yes that is right... we got good use out of our costumes this year. Our first party was the Brinton Halloween party. We had a lot of fun. It was the one night during the whole month that it was FREEZING! So we had a fun time freezing, eating, playing, and talking :)
Next, Dena had s night out at her house. It was a costume party and I wish I had a picture of the table and food from that night because Dena did AWESOME!After that we went to Disneyland. We all went (Bruce didn't come we missed him!). We left on a Thursday morning early. We went to Disneyland when we got there- then we went to the hotel and got dressed in our costumes for the trick or treat that night at California Adventure. That was such a fun night. If you ever get a chance to go and do it definitely do! It was tons of fun. We spent Friday at Disneyland. Saturday morning we went to California Adventure and then drove home. We were sooo tired when we got home but it was a really fun trip.
Ayla thought that Bridget was a pretty fun ride.
Thursday we all wore our Halloween shirts and looked really cute.
Friday we wore our Disneyland shirts. (you gotta love the tights)
Saturday we all wore black. (it was a bit hot for black but we sure looked cute!)
I think Dena secretly wanted a big ol' bite of turkey leg! YUM
After Disneyland, we had the Roger's family Halloween party that we dressed up for. We had a lot of fun there... we also got a lot of candy yummy. The following Wednesday we had our ward's trunk or treat. Bret and I ran the cake walk. The young women were in charge but somehow we ran it all night. It was fun though :)
On Halloween Ayla and I watched Teagan during the day and then we went to Grandma and Pa's house. We made dinner, carved our pumpkin, ate, and then went trick or treating.
After trick or treating we went to Marcie and Holly's friend's house and Ayla got to ride on the pony. Marlo dresses the ponies up for halloween and they were really cute.
Ayla also got to hold her baby puppy. She was in love with it. She kissed it, hugged it, and cried when we had to give her back... don't get any ideas Ayla we are not getting a puppy! haha

Holy cow!! That's a lot of Halloween. I love the picture with the turkey leg.. too cute. I wish we could have been there for the Brinton party. I miss that every year!!
