San Diego Trip

Well we went to San Diego for Nationals (for Bret's competition). Bret flew over Tuesday and Bruce, Gina, and I drove over on Wednesday. On Thursday we got to see Bret and watch their presentation. But, before that we waited...... and waited..... Bruce got in a few good naps and read a few books.....

Gina and I did some shopping and talking and people watching....
And and boys got ready for their presentation. They did a really good job! They didn't place this time but they still did awesome. On Friday Bret had one last thing to do with his team so we went shopping :) at seaport village. We ate lunch on the water and had a great time (except for the birds... oh so scary way to many birds).

After he was done we drove over to the San Diego temple and walked around. It was so pretty and we had a great time.

On Saturday Gina was sick but Bruce, Bret and I went to the Midway (an aircraft carrier) and toured it. We spent almost four hours there and had a great time. This was a statue by the ship, it was in a little garden that was a tribute to Bob Hope. It was a really fun day even though we felt sad Gina was sick and couldn't be with us.

It was a really fun trip. We stayed in a nice hotel and came home Sunday. They had some really cute robes in the room and Gina made sure that we took pictures of them.

Thanks to Bret for having the competition so we could go. Thanks to Gina and Bruce for taking us, and a big huge thanks to Marcie, Holly, Dena, and Mike who stayed home and took care of the kids... even though they were sick and it wasn't much fun! We love you guys!!!!
